The single screw press is widely used to cook wood pulp, bamboo pulp, and straw pulp through alkaline pulping and acid pulping in order to extract and thicken black liquor from them. It is also used to extract spent liquor and thicken waste paper pulp. The machine utilizes a screw which has variable diameter and pitch to revolve and squeeze the fiber by the continuous changing of space and cubage. This machine has many advantages such as high extraction, rarely fiber waste, suitable for many kinds of stock and etc.
