The double cone cleaner is one of the advanced equipments for pulp cleaning, especially it has much better performance for waste paper. It utilizes the different gravity between fiber and impurity to put the contraries around the inner side of the tapered tube, and then the contraries will separate from the pulp and fall into the sand collector in the process of sinking. Finally the contraries will be discharged periodically after washing by high pressured water, the clean pulp acquired.
This cleaner has two types: manual discharge and pneumatic discharge. The liner can be made of wear-resistance cast iron, stainless steel, or wear-resistance ceramic.
